PREMIER PROPERTY SERVICES is proud to announce ENERGY GUARD. Armor your home to conserve energy today with our radiant energy barrier product.
Stay warm in the winter, cool in the summer.

WHAT IS RADIANT ENERGY?

Radiant Energy is energy that passes throughout the home. Simply put, it works in “heat waves”. Without a good radiant barrier, energy from the sun in the summer will spike the temperature in the home causing the air conditioner to work overtime. In winter, radiant energy works in the opposite way and escapes through the attic making the furnace run around the clock to maintain a steady temperature.

WHAT IS ENERGY GUARD?

Energy Guard is a reflective coating applied to the decking inside the attic. It reflects radiant energy back to its source relieving the home of costly over heating and cooling. Energy Guard paint is essentially “liquid foil”. It is composed of pure aluminum grounded into a powder and mixed with a clear latex paint. Energy Guard is latex based with a low VOC rating, meaning it does not contain chemicals harmful to the environment. Premier Property Services exclusively uses E-Barrier by Sherwin Williams. E-Barrier has an emissitivity rating of 0.32 which means that it reflects up to 68% of the radiant energy in the home which leads to big savings to the homeowner.

HOW DOES ENERGY GUARD HELP?

Energy Guard reflects the heat from the sun during summer and keeps the heat trapped inside the home during winter. The thermos effect will allow the HVAC system to operate much more efficiently which will extend the life of the unit. The less the HVAC system runs, the lower energy costs will be for the home. Average savings run 10-15% in most homes depending on prior construction and installation.

HOW IS ENERGY GUARD INSTALLED?

Energy Guard must be professionally installed for maximum efficiency. Energy Guard is sprayed on the under-decking of the roof in the attic. The product must be applied with a high-end professional spray rig and must be sprayed on at a very specific thickness in order to be effective. This product can be applied in both new homes and existing homes.
